"A seamless, pulsating, dazzlingly visual revenge fantasy that stands as one of the most effective live-actioners ever derived from a comic strip." - Todd McCarthy, VARIETY

This stylishly gothic, shadow-drenched film adaptation of the popular comic book stars Brandon Lee in his final role—that of a man who is brutally murdered and returns from the dead to wreak terrible vengeance on his killers.
Legend has it that crows ferry the dead across the void to their final resting place. However, if the death demands revenge, then the crows will assist the avenging souls. On the eve of his wedding, guitarist Eric Draven and his fiancee are attacked by criminals - she is viciously assaulted and both are murdered. Soon after this horrific incident, the undead Draven, once a loving and peaceful man, returns to the nightmarish city hellbent on revenge. With a black crow as his guide, Draven steps out of the night as a killer instead of a victim. Exploiting his newly acquired ability to rapidly heal himself, he delivers murderous justice to each criminal who snuffed out his life on the brink of happiness. But will revenge really cleanse his soul?
Featuring an influential mid-90s industrial goth music soundtrack fueled by Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, The Cure and more, THE CROW has developed a devoted cult following since its initital release, due in part to the tragic accidental death of star Brandon Lee a mere eight days before filming was completed, as well as the inventive direction of Alex Proyas, who went on to helm the sci-fi epics Dark City and I, Robot.
