ADVENTURES OF POWER is a hard-rocking comedy about a mine worker named Power (Ari Gold) who journeys across America in hopes of saving his hometown, using the only weapon he's got ... his totally awesome talent for air-drumming. Along the way, he gathers around him a motley crew of oddballs who believe their obsession with banging the invisible skins can save the world. And maybe it can!
Written and directed by (and starring) Ari Gold, ADVENTURES OF POWER boasts a high-octane cast of comedy veterans, including Adrian Grenier (Entourage), Nick Kroll (Cavemen), Jane Lynch (Best in Show), Chi Ling Chiu (Kung Fu Hustle), and Michael McKean (This is Spinal Tap). Ari Gold will be on hand at this very special screening to host a sure-to-be-lively Q&A following the film.
ADVENTURES OF POWER writer/director/star Ari Gold was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's "Faces to Watch" after having three short films in a row accepted at the Sundance Film Festival, the third of which went on to win the Student Oscar. He also plays ukulele in the musical duo, The Gold Brothers. ROCK ON!
